Credit System
Credit Score
What it means
A three-digit number that sums up how likely you are to repay, based on your credit history. The most common model is the FICO Score, which runs from 300-850. A higher score tells lenders you are a lower risk, which usually means better interest rates and terms. Each bureau calculates its own score for you.
